Responsiveness to Community Leads to a New Website.
The desire to be as responsive and responsible as possible to the communities Na’ah Illahee Fund serves led to the development of a new, functional website- one that we hope will also capture the beauty and depth of stories from our grantees, cohort members, and partnerships.
Na’ah Illahee Fund’s goal is to support Native individuals and groups in ways that contribute lasting momentum to the collective strength and sustainability of Tribal communities. Our organization’s impact area is vast; it covers seven states and provinces of the Northwest, in places that are actively responding to the climate, economic, cultural, and health crises of our time.
It is our hope that the new platform effectively communicates the resolve and ingenuity of the communities we serve while also providing a usable resource for grant applicants, community leaders, and supporters.
For community members, the searchable resource, Participants by Region, can be used to find others with common projects, to grow networks, and to assist on the journey to strengthen communities. We hope you find inspiration and comradery there, where you can sort by program, location, and year. Go here to take a look: Project & Participant Search
For grant applicants, the grant announcement pages are reorganized and always visible. The menu system takes you directly to grant program landing pages with open (and closed) grant announcements, requirements, and past-year awardee projects all in one place.
For funders and supporters, we hope you are inspired by the stories we share and our vision of prosperous Indigenous regions with vibrant Indigenous communities that have found their way back to healthy and thriving cultures, lands, and regenerative economies.
“We welcome allies in the celebrating and strengthening of Native communities. Join us as we water the seeds for tomorrow. – Brooke Pinkham, Board President, Na’ah Illahee Fund
